A one mile awareness walk for veterans was held by the American Legion Department of Virginia on the beach behind the Virginia Beach Resort Hotel and Conference Center during their annual spring conference. Veterans face many challenges, and supporting their needs is a primary mission of the American Legion. From all of us at The Shopper magazine, we are so thankful to those who serve our country!
